Nolmë, la revista bilingüe (en español e inglés) para el estudio de la obra de J.R.R. Tolkien, presenta su cuarto número. En esta entrega se combinan la republicación de artículos destacados de los primeros años de la revista Estel y nuevos contenidos inéditos hasta la fecha.
Los dos primeros artículos, escritos por Luis Goñi entre los años 1995 y 1996, continúan con la exploración y reflexión acerca de algunos temas ya tratados en los artículos que se publicaron en el número 1 de Nolmë: el papel y la presencia de los elfos en la Tierra Media (esta vez en la Cuarta Edad), y el Poder y la Magia. A ellos se les suma un artículo de la misma época escrito por Pablo Ginés, sobre los actores y las relaciones políticas en Beleriand durante la Primera Edad.
Finalmente, como contenido especial se ofrece la conferencia impartida por Luis Goñi en la Mereth Aderthad de Sabadell en 1998, sobre El Hobbit. Esta perspicaz conferencia, inédita hasta el momento, muestra la grandeza y valor propio del cuento, a menudo considerado sólo una introducción a la magna opus que es El Señor de los Anillos.
Este número está hermosamente ilustrado por los trabajos de Meritxell Ferrer, Catherine Karina Chmiel Kasiopea, Jesús Málaga, Lidia Martínez y Luis Gans.

Nolmë, the bilingual (Spanish and English) journal for the research on J.R.R. Tolkien’s works, offers its fourth issue. This installment combines the republication of highlighted articles from the first years of the journal Estel and new unpublished contents.
The two first articles, written by Luis Goñi between 1995 and 1996, explore and discuss on some of the issues already studied in the articules that were published in the first number of Nolmë: the role and presence of Elves in Middle-earth (this time in the Fourth Age), and Power and Magic. There is also an article from the same years written by Pablo Ginés, about the political agents and relations in Beleriand during the First Age.
Finally, as a special content we offer the paper delivered by Luis Goñi in the Mereth Aderthad of Sabadell in 1998, about The Hobbit. This thoughtful paper, unpublished until now, shows the great inner value of a tale that is often considered just an introduction to the magna opus that is The Lord of the Rings.
